The Knowledge Center is designed to provide teachers and related service providers throughout the State of Georgia with a variety of resources to improve the literacy rates of D/HH students in Georgia.  The Knowledge Center contains nine sub-sections each focused on a specific topic (i.e., General Information; Hearing Loss, Audiology, and Auditory Learning; Language and Communication; Literacy and Learning; Assessment; Instructional Technology; Early Intervention; Family Center; and Additional Considerations).  Within each sub-section, you will find information, such as:

  • Materials and Resources;
  • Tips and Strategies;
  • Partnering with Families; and
  • FAQs and Answers.

Visitors can explore each sub-section for specific information related to each category, in addition to lesson plans, video clips, and successful strategies for how to increase your students’ literacy.
